Hello All.

Well its Official. We are having the "Christmas FE Potluck" Happening again.

The date is set for Dec 17th.  noon to midnight. Dinner around 4pm.

This time its in another building across from the old one. 24 Mabelle Ave.

Christmas Potluck 2009 was a great success and I hope this one will also be one.

Now for some details:

Its a POTLUCK type of affair, and that means BYOFTS (Bring Your Own Food To Share)

Turkey(s) will be provided by myself, and some side dishes.

What we are looking for is things like the following:

- POP (Cans or Bottles) - This can be Regular or Diet (Lots of people drink Diet now adays)
- Chips/Munchies/ect... - Chips, snacks, or the like is always a good Idea to bring and share with everyone
- Hot foods like Potato's, Veggie's, buns, casserole dishes, ect.. Anything that needs to be reheated is going to be alittle problematic as we have only 1 stove in the Party room. Bring your Crock Pots or other heating devices if you have em to make it easier.
- baked goods, Cookies, gingerbread, candies, festive stuffs, ect... along the same spirit of things.
- Anything else you might like to bring.

Unfortunately this party is a NO booze zone. This is the apartments rules and we have to go by them.

Fursuiters are always welcome, and dress up if you want. I remember Kitty dressed up as Miss's Claws, was quite Cute.

Any decorations you are willing to bring and take home is up to you.

Now to make sure we get things organized, please respond to this email and what you would like to bring. This way we know what we have, and what is still needed.

Hopefully we can have as much fun as we did in 2009.

Who knows if you have been good, you might get a gift.

I will probably be out of town for this one. My work does two weeks off and I need to be working for that so I will be going home to work. One of these days I will get to an Islington Meet. I don't live that far away and will probably attend all of them.

I know this is still alittle early, but if you are coming to this event, please post what you will be bringing.

This way we can organize what we have and make a spread like the first christmas one.

Will give more details of what will be happening for the christmas meet once Halloween one is done.

Yes it was fun! I didn't know many of you crazy people at the time.. but it was an epic Christmas event!  

It also marked the very first time that Vinnie 1.0 had his ears jerked off by Thadius... and the countless therapy sessions after this occurrence took place - proof is in the photo.

And lets not forget Sammy being decapitated by Thadius shortly after my ears were jerked off...

And Smash shoving his Santa hat halfway down my throat.. (still picking out the hairs) ...

If there is one thing these photos prove.. its that the Islington Christmas events... ROCK.

I hope I don't have any end-of-term assignments around this time, because this sounds like a rockin' meet.  I missed the 2009 one y'all are talking about but it certainly looks like a fun party I would love to go to.  Or, at the very least, to eat all the white meat on the turkey *pats tummy*

Yeah, you won't be be seeing Derpy Deer again, at least not in the near future. And since I have a credit card, I can rent that one from Malabar that I've tried on the last few times I was there.

Now that the Halloween madness of party was done.

Here are some more details for this event.

I will need to know what dish you plan on bringing, posted into this post.

Please also mention ingredients, if you are going to bake or make your own.

What we are looking for is the following:

PIE/CAKE (no its not a lie)/Desserts of all kinds
Veg'y Dishes
POP (all kinds)
Christmas candies
Other Hot meat dishes if you don't want to have turkey.
Potato Dishes
Casseroles
ect....

If you have any other ideas, don't be afraid of doing them, by all means the list is not extensive, and its not limited to that. Just what is being looked for.

I myself will be probably doing 2 turkeys this year (Still counting my fingers from 2009's attack of the furries on that last 18lb bird  ).

Unfortunately as with the Halloween party this one will be dry (No alcohol) thats the buildings contract.

We will be mentioning soon a alternative to the presents we did in 2009. Its along the same line as secret santa  More details to come on this one.
